Get ready for a fantastic day on the links at the 9th Annual Jesse Acebedo Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the scenic North Kern Golf Course in Bakersfield, California! We’re teeing up for a good time while raising funds for the Wasco Community Scholarship Association (WCSA)—and we’d love for you to be part of it!
A McFarland native and a true Wasco Tiger, Jesse was a beloved figure in the Wasco community and at Wasco High for over four decades. His commitment to education shines on through the WCSA, and this tournament keeps his spirit alive!
Since 1966, the Wasco Community Scholarship Association has empowered Wasco High School graduates by providing scholarships for two-year colleges, four-year universities, and trade schools. This year, we’re proud to share that we’ve awarded an incredible $84,000 in scholarships! That’s a major win for our students!
Every contribution helps fuel the dreams of these talented young people. Your generosity makes it possible for them to pursue their education and build bright futures.
